Stadium Information

Welcome to Five Star Stadium, home of the Mercer Bears and the ultimate gameday experience. Rated among the best venues in the Football Championship Subdivision, the 10,000-seat stadium features a state-of-the-art video board, great sight lines and berm seating. Five Star Stadium is located in the Tony and Nancy Moye Football and Lacrosse Complex.

Guest Services

If you require assistance finding your seat, concession stands, restrooms, or have inquiries on parking, be sure to speak with one of our many friendly Mercer University ushers positioned around the stadium. The ushers are easily identified by their orange collared shirts.

You can also visit the Guest Services window, located just inside the main stadium entrance. At the Guest Services window, you can learn more about first aid, lost & found and general stadium information.

First Aid

First aid is available at the Guest Services window on the West side of the stadium and at the First Aid tent on the East side. Trained nurses are on hand. If a doctor is needed, ask any usher. For emergencies, call 911.

Handicap Accessibility

Entrances are at the West and East Gates of the stadium. Customers who require accessible seating may submit a request for these seats by calling Mercer Ticket Sales at (478) 301-5470.

Stadium Re-Entry Policy / Medical Pass

Mercer University football tickets are only valid for one-time stadium entry. Fans who wish to exit the stadium prior to the conclusion of the game will not be allowed to re-enter. Patrons may be allowed re-entrance in the case that a medical condition requires exiting the stadium. To obtain a Medical Pass for re-entry, please visit the Guest Services window inside the main stadium entrance.

Lost and Found

Please report any item to the information booth behind the West stands of the stadium. Unclaimed articles are transported to the Mercer Police station on Winship Avenue.

Concessions

Concession stands are located at the East and West stands inside the stadium.

Souvenirs

Souvenirs, novelties and gameday programs are sold inside the stadium.

Requests for Assistance

All requests for assistance and reports of discourtesy should be directed to event staff.

Tickets

The Ticket Office will open 3 hours prior to kickoff. The Ticket Office closes at halftime. Reselling of tickets for an amount greater than the printed price is prohibited.

Gates

All gates are open 60 minutes prior to kickoff. Drake Field House will open 2 hours prior to kickoff for all fans with valid credentials.

Will Call

Will Call tickets can be claimed at one location only. The Will Call Booth is located in the Butler Family Plaza next to Gate 2. A picture ID must be shown to pick up Will Call tickets.

Tickets Purchased Online

Tickets purchased in advance can be picked up on gameday at the Will Call booth beginning 3 hours prior to kickoff or at the Mercer Ticket Sales University Center location weekdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The Player and Spirit Groups Pass Gate

The player and spirit groups pass gate opens at the same time as the gates (1.5 hours prior to kickoff). They are located on the east side of the stadium next to the tennis courts. A valid picture ID must be shown for each complimentary admission at the Player and Spirit Groups Pass Gate.

Alcohol

No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the stadium.

Smoking

In accordance with Mercer policy, all areas of the stadium are smoke and tobacco free. Anyone violating this policy will be subject to removal from the stadium.

Code of Conduct

  • All Mercer University guests, fans and supporters are expected to conduct themselves with honor, dignity and respect.
  • Please demonstrate qualities of civility and sportsmanship at all times.
  • Do not use vulgar, abusive, racist, sexist, demeaning or intimidating language.
  • Please support the players, coaches and officials in a positive manner.
  • Please treat all visiting teams, coaches and fans with courtesy and respect.
  • Do not engage in cheers that are vulgar, crass or demeaning.
  • Refrain from the throwing of any object.
  • Do not become inebriated or belligerent.
  • Refrain from entering the playing field and team areas.
  • All state and federal laws will be enforced.

Recycling

Take pride in Mercer’s campus by taking responsibility for keeping it clean and taking action to help sustain the environment. Please utilize the recycling bins positioned in the tailgating areas and use the Coca-Cola recycling barrels located in Mercer Stadium.

Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited inside the stadium:

  • Outside food or drink
  • Coolers
  • Lawn Chairs
  • Artificial noisemakers
  • Tobacco products
  • Pets (except assistance animals)
  • Umbrellas
  • Backpacks and large bags
  • Banners
  • Food or drink containers
  • Home video cameras
  • Laser devices
  • Seatbacks larger than 17 inches wide
  • Flags
  • Knives, firearms or any type of weapon
